Thunder~ / victory cheer
[The following occurs around noon of Asuka's sixth day on the island, in the hall of Obelisk Blue White Blue, beginning shortly after Manjoume's duel against the Light of Destruction concludes. (Why no, I haven't figured out how exactly that's going to go yet, but suffice it to say Manjoume won, barely.)]

[The following occurs in the early evening hours of Asuka's fifth evening on the island, at approximately the same time that she is writing in her travelogue. Manjoume's location? The old well.]

[The following occurs in the late night hours of Asuka's fourth evening on the island, beginning shortly before his being spirited away to Econtra - time elapsed in his own world from that point until his return, about thirty seconds. There's only one person who knows that, though...]

Well, we all survived, and we're all going home now. Can't say I'm going to miss this place all that much, really.

Though, I suppose I'll admit... I'm going to miss almost everyone I've met here, a little. I won't list names, because you know who you are, but.

I'm glad to have gotten to finally really meet you, Fubuki-senpai.

And Judai, I'm glad that your world has you. Thanks, for everything.

...Anyway, time to go back and see if certain personal battles can't be wrapped up too, then.

Asuka, I... I'll see you in a few days.

So people's attributes are getting swapped, then.

I don't like it. It's not as bad as... but I still don't like this at all.

[Incidentally, those who know Manjoume will realize that his tone is... oddly calm, given the situation. This would be because, since one of the things he traded was his being quick to anger, he's... kind of not -capable- of getting angry at the situation at the moment.]

I don't think I want to ask
Is it over? ...No, that's a stupid question - that was probably just the beginning, wasn't it.

Though, I have to say - wet towels really do work to keep out poisonous gases. Either that or the windows were fine without the help anyway, but.

Is everyone I know okay?

All in all, I'm glad I went out to watch those duels the other day. Very thrilling to watch - I wish I'd felt up to challenging him myself, in retrospect. Stupid cold.

Even if the wall of my room probably has slight depressions in it now from throwing the Ojama plushies at it afterward. Those things are amazingly durable.

There were a couple of plays that I made sure to take particular note of, for whenever all of this is over. They might be useful to remember, back home.

Private... though hackable because he's not paying attention. )

wanting to sulk in the corner
[The communicator turns on accidentally. Why? Who knows - it just does. For a minute, there isn't much sound - just the soft rustling of someone breathing, probably trying to sleep.

(And why shouldn't Manjoume be trying to sleep? He's been through what he would consider to be quite a lot. Not as much as everything he's ever been through, but still.)

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the breathing becomes ever so slightly agitated for a moment or two, and then...]

AAAA-CHOOOOOOOOO!

[Which was supposed to be a very loud sneeze, but probably wasn't rendered as such very well through text due to a lack of wanting to use bigfont. Either way, this is followed by a couple of sniffles and a small, mildly irritated groan before he goes back to trying to sleep and the communicator turns itself off, again at random.

Guess who has a nasty cold~]

((ooc: backdated to about three days after the conclusion of this thread (which I'm assuming is still going on?) Notable: the Light stuff is now gone, and he can see/hear spirits again. Not sure yet if he knows the latter bit yet, but.))

Screened as heavily as he can make it to OU Yuuki Judai. )

((ooc: sent a little while after this thread - about a day at most, but at least a few hours. Also, strikes are completely illegible, deleted, the works.))

rather annoyed by something
[Even if this wasn't accidentally recording it, it would be easily audible as Manjoume storms up the stairs, opens the door to Paj-Enas, and SLAMS it so hard that the whole floor seemingly shakes slightly.

And as soon as the door is shut, a long chain of very loud, curse-filled yelling begins, each curse more or less worse than the one before it - it's quite colorful, even more colorful than this action blurb can give proper justice to due to a lack of vocabulary on the subject. This continues on for several minutes, decreasing in volume only close-ish to the end, when his voice begins to falter.

And then he coughs a couple of times and hoarsely manages to conclude it with the following:]

Why him?!?

[And then it shuts off. Responses to comments will be type-written, because he's just essentially lost his voice.]

...Made it, two attempts in a row now. Unless this clock is still wrong, which it could be. How should I know, after all.

I think I'm ready for the next step, whenever you're available.

wanting to sulk in the corner
[The communicator is turned on accidentally, most likely (read: most definitely) by its owner rolling over in a fruitless attempt to find a more comfortable position in his bed.]

...ow...

[Over the course of the transmission, there is more tossing and turning, a failed attempt at not whimpering slightly, and one very very loud wince that is quickly followed by a scrambling noise, in the midst of which the off button is pushed.]

Halloween.

The day said to be when spirits come closest to the world of the living.

Even if it were true...

Hopefully things will be calm enough on this side of the hallway for a few hours...

So... we're not actually dead.

That wasn't fun in the least. But at least everyone's all right, right?

[There is the sound of footsteps - certainly not calm, but not fast enough to be running.  The echoes suggest perhaps that it's in a stairwell.  The voice is mumbling, with a tone that approximately reflects the footsteps.  He really doesn't realize that it's recording - he's mostly just thinking aloud.]

Judai's dead, alongside that Johan guy... so much for his being the great protector, huh.  Kaiser's dead - with some guy I don't know, but I remember he came to that place that time, so he must be someone he knew.  Fubuki-senpai's dead - never thought I'd see anyone dead twice, but I never thought half of what happened in my life would ever happen either, and look at all of that.

And... both of the Asukas are dead, too...

[The footprints slow down for a brief moment, but then they speed up again to somewhat faster than before.]

I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise to protect her - I wasn't even there in time to try...

I'm sorry I couldn't retrieve the key in time - that bastard's going to destroy my world now, isn't he.  And I can't do anything to stop it - if anything, I perpetuated it.

I'm...

...fine, no one's around, I can say it.

I'm sorry I threw the three of you away.  I'm sorry I can't apologize in person.  I'm sorry I'll never be able to say goodbye to all of you at the very least.

[The footsteps pause momentarily to allow for the sound of the creak of a door opening - when the footsteps resume, they are slow, deliberate, and not echoey so much as they sound as though they're on concrete or something outdoors.  Now the voice is loud, confident, and almost taunting.]

Entropi, or whatever the hell you are!  I won't give you the pleasure of hunting me out!  Here I am - come and hit me with everything you've got!

[And, a few moments later, the recording zaps into static.  Apparently, the Entropi did just that.]
