What Are You :: Appearance
Standing at around 5'8", Manjoume is naturally skinny, even in his shoulders. However, his thin build is more that he is physically fit than anything – he is certainly no frail beanstalk. He has jet-black hair that falls kind of into a spiked mane, with four large spikes pointing upward from the back of his neck toward the top of his head, and the rest of it falling forward into large bangs that extend a few inches in front of his head. He also has dark grey eyes that he usually keeps half closed, mostly out of habit. His dark-colored hair and eyes are accented by his rather pale skin – in fact, if it weren't for the fact that his other features are so dark, he could pass for albino.

In terms of his usual style of dress, Manjoume shows a distinct preference for dark-colored clothing. His favorite outfit is his uniform from the North School, consisting of a dark-purple, almost black shirt with matching black slacks and brown boots, as well as a black trench coat with grey trim. Unless something exceptionally strange is going on, you won't usually find him willing to wear light colors, especially white… at all, really.
What Are You Like :: Personality
When people meet Manjoume for the first time, he often comes across as somewhat on the irritable, snobbish, and rude side, with a little bit of a sarcastic streak. At a basic level, these traits can be explained by his upbringing – having grown up as a member of the wealthy Manjoume family, he is somewhat used to having his own way and has a habit of attempting to make himself out to be superior to most people. To be truly honest, however, this air of superiority is less an actual belief on Manjoume's part that he actually is superior, and more a need to prove to himself that he's a person who's worth keeping around, combined with a general discomfort when it comes to talking with others. His snobbish attitude has dissipated slightly after his brothers' outright rejection of him, and even more so after being freed from the Light's influence, though he's still rather irritable and tends to put up a cold exterior with those he doesn't know well.

Those who do take the time to get to know Manjoume (and wind up on his good side, rather than on his nerves) are rewarded in that they get to see a slightly more friendly side of his personality. With those who he is comfortable around, Manjoume is still somewhat quiet, but not so much in an irritable way as in that he listens. He can also be a little bit on the bubbly side if someone gets him excited about something.

Manjoume has never particularly liked loud, quiet places; he prefers quiet places in which he can be alone to think. He also prefers it when the light in the area isn't too bright – it's not as though he's allergic or anything, but due to recent experiences, Manjoume has a strong distaste (to put it lightly) for bright lights, as well as the color white. He is also distrustful of fortune telling and other forms of psychic ability, and is naturally inclined to distrust those who he finds out can do that.

As a side note, Manjoume is usually referred by his family name, mostly because there aren't all that many people who are close enough to him that he will permit them to call him otherwise. The only people where he comes from who will call him by his given name of Jun are the members of his family (i.e. his older brothers) and Asuka. "Manjoume Thunder" is a title given to him at the North School, which he occasionally uses as his title when dueling or when referring to himself in a boastful manner.
What Can You Do :: Abilities and Strengths
Partly due to his two years of classes at Duel Academy and partly due to natural talent, Manjoume is talented at the game of Duel Monsters, to the point where he is one of the elite duelists at Duel Academy. His experience with this game has also helped him in the field of strategizing.

Also, he can be quite clever when he wants to be, and is capable of coming up with creative solutions to difficult problems. He often applies this to Duel Monsters – for example, when given the limitation of only having monsters in a deck that have 500 or less attack points, he created one in which no monster had even one attack point… and still won against a deck filled with rare, powerful cards.

Physically, Manjoume has an exceptional amount of stamina for someone of his age, and can survive extreme conditions longer than most people. He has been known to climb glaciers successfully and swim through ice-cold water without becoming hypothermic, just as an example of this.

Previously, Manjoume was is also capable of seeing Duel Spirits, the souls that of Duel Monsters cards. With the ability to see them also came comes the ability to hear and talk to them – his main partner spirit was is that of Ojama Yellow, though he was is also often accompanied by the spirits of Ojama Green and Ojama Black, and he could can see and hear any other spirits that decide to make themselves known, including those of humans. This ability was is fairly useful because spirits, undetectable to most people, can go ahead and make sure the way is clear, or gather information about something that would be dangerous to be caught researching.
What Are Your Failings :: Weaknesses
Manjoume seems to almost have a hypersensitivity to any and all supernatural mind-effecting effects. If someone attempts to magically convince him of something, it is nearly guaranteed to work, and it is highly unlikely to break on its own unless it attempts to force him to do something completely and utterly opposite of his true nature.

Manjoume's ability to see Duel Monster spirits, when he had it, was is a slight bit of a double-edged sword, because whenever he needed needs peace and quiet was is exactly when his spirits were are the most likely to show up. He would will often become annoyed at them when they would do, wishing that they would just shut up, leaving him irritable and distracted, and he rarely saw sees much potential for how they could can help him.

On the other hand, willing to admit it or not, a part of him enjoys – needs – the Ojamas' companionship, leaving him somewhat lost and confused at times without their presence nearby. And due to his experience with the Light, this ability of his is in the past tense, as he has been rendered unable to see or hear spirits of any sort. Though Manjoume himself doesn't know the reason, this is because, while most of the Light's influence is gone, a tiny bit remains. It's not enough to control him or change his manner of thinking – it's small enough that even beings with powerful connections to the very powers of darkness would have to physically touch him in order to even have a chance at feeling that it was there (though they could, conceivably, if Manjoume was to let them get close enough). However, it exists in such a way as to block off this ability and render it useless. In theory, this blockage could be removed, allowing him access to this ability again, but the method for doing so is currently unknown. (Not to mention that if this bit of Light were to ever be amplified somehow, it would probably try to influence him again, and possibly others if it got strong enough. Which would not be good.)

Due to the events of this thread, the Light stuff is gone, and the block that prevented him from seeing spirits has been lifted. However, he's still kind of lost at times without the Ojamas, who are still in his own world.

Also, Manjoume has a bit of a temper management issue. When he gets angry (including and especially at himself), he tends to lash out at the nearest living person (usually, but not always, directing it toward the cause of the anger), and it takes him a long time for him to get over it after the fact.
What Have You Gathered :: Notable Possessions
At this point in time, Manjoume has one standard school-issue Kaiba Corporation Duel Disk, worn on his left arm when in use, as well as his deck of Duel Monsters cards. Said deck is based around summoning powerful evolving dragon cards which he obtained at North School.

He also has about half a deck's worth of Ojama support spells and traps. Surprisingly effective when used in the right hands, and Manjoume knows exactly how to use them. (Of course, they require the cards Ojama Yellow, Ojama Green, and Ojama Black in order to actually be useful. Though they only have 0 attack points, the Ojamas are the key cards to the strategies with this set, as well as the cards that hold the spirits that act as Manjoume's partners. And very notably, these cards are not in Manjoume's possession at this time.)
